Hot Stuff
When I first used Hotglue I was a little apprehensive as I've always tried to avoid WYSIWYG type site builders, however the more I used Hotglue I started to think differently about the layout of my work and how everything fits within a grid system in relation to each other.
I started putting together a few pages with various content in each to see how far I could take the Hotglue software. I tried embedding video and audio from different sources to see which ones worked best.
I also had a look at adding my own custom HTML and CSS to my Hotglue pages. I felt more comfortable building pages in Hotglue this way.
Once my first site was built I ran some browser tests on various platforms and was surprised by the outcome. We compared our findings within the group and found there were a lot of issues in earlier versions of IE.
After seeing what Hotglue was capable of and testing on various platforms I was able to start planning my portfolio website.
